In an era when energy systems need to evolve to deal with global sustainability issues, smart
grids combined with IoT technologies have paved the way for cleaner, smarter, and more
resilient energy solutions. Energy Sphere is a two-day workshop designed to provide an in-
depth understanding of IoT-integrated smart grid systems, focusing on their potential to
optimize energy distribution, enhance grid reliability, and promote sustainable energy
practices. This program gives participants the opportunity to understand and contribute to
cutting-edge energy technology by providing the ideal balance of theoretical insights, new
trends, and real-world applications. The workshop focuses on creating efficient and
sustainable energy systems for the future, in line with the Sustainable Development Goals of
the UN (SDG 7: Affordable and Clean Energy, SDG 9: Industry, Innovation, and
Infrastructure, and SDG 11: Sustainable Cities and Communities).
The workshop will feature interactive sessions, live demonstrations, and hands-on practice
with industry-standard software tools like ETAP, HOMER Pro, and IoT platforms. Participants
will also gain insights into emerging technologies such as AI, data analytics, and cyber
security in smart energy systems.
